Earth Hour 2022 – lights off for climate change awareness
March 26 @ 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm PDT
Join one of the world’s largest movements for nature by turning off your lights for one hour on Saturday evening 3/26/22.
Every year, at 8:30 pm on the last Saturday of March, supporters in over 190 countries and territories unite, taking action for and raising awareness of nature loss and climate change – two urgent threats to our one home.
But Earth Hour is more than just an hour for Earth – it’s a movement for our own futures, for the benefit of people and planet.
And it’s not only a symbol of solidarity – it’s a catalyst for urgent change amidst one of our most crucial years yet — 2022 presents an incredible once-in-a-decade opportunity to push world leaders into action.
Started in 2007 by WWF and partners as a symbolic lights-out event in Sydney to raise awareness of climate change, Earth Hour is now one of the world’s largest grassroots movements for the environment.
