Seal Day at the Marine Mammal Care Center – San Pedro
July 31 @ 10:00 am - 4:00 pm PDT
Seal Day is a celebration for the community and a fundraiser to support the critical work the Marine Mammal Care Center does for ocean conservation and to save seals and sea lions.
Activities include an online auction, food trucks (including the vegan Word of Mouth and others), food and gift vendors and information booths from non-profit organizations including Heal the Bay, Aquarium of the Pacific and more.
Reservations are required in advance, and a $5 donation per person is requested. Out of an abundance of caution, face masks are required in the animal viewing areas.

Marine Mammal Care Center Los Angeles is a non-profit hospital for seals and sea lions that strand on the 70+ miles of beaches from Malibu to Seal Beach due to illness, injury, and malnutrition. Their mission is to promote ocean conservation through education, research, and marine mammal rehabilitation. The care center is open for public tours by reservation only.
