Simple But Not Easy:

Addressing the Root Problem of Climate Change

Climate change is the greatest threat in the history of humanity. It seems extraordinarily complicated but the basic problem is simple (which doesn’t mean solving it will be easy!). Jim Thompson, founder of THIS! Is What We Did, will detail the “3 Stories of Climate Change” and the “3 Flows of Money” that must be interrupted for our descendants to have a chance for a decent life. He will show why banks are a key leverage point, and how we can move our money from “climate-bad banks” that are using it to destroy our only planet.

Humanity’s response to the climate crisis will require a mobilization larger than the United States’ mobilization to win World War Two. This will require solidarity, which he calls our superpower. This presentation confronts the brutal facts of the situation we are in but provides practical ways we can make a difference.
